My Favorite Place to Live and Work - Whats Your Theme?

My Favorite Place to Live and Work - What's Your Theme? My Favorite Place to Live and Work is an essay contest that is real fun. I think everyone who loves writing can put together something like this because it's just something different. This is a great way to get into the spirit of the holiday season! In My Favorite Place to Live and Work, you have five essay topics to choose from. The five topics are: The Heart of Middle America, Making Ends Meet in the Recession, Devoted Love-Americans Who Love Their Country, Making Fun of Americans for Getting Health Insurance, and The Best Way to Get Rich is to Live in a Cave! You will need to spend a few minutes to choose one of the essay topics that you would like to focus on. There are plenty of other topics to choose from, but I think this is one of the most fun! You will also have to make up a short story about yourself. Just don't put too much detail into it though, because the judges will look at the story and decide if it fits with the ov erall theme of the essay. You have to answer all the questions that are posed to you on a test that you will take before the essay period begins. You will also be given a research checklist that you will use to help you write your essay. These lists will help you research your topic. The essay period of the contest ends before Thanksgiving and Christmas, so plan ahead! I suggest that you prepare by writing a short synopsis of the topic for you to use when you submit your essay. The writers on the judging panel will read the short synopsis and then the full piece. They will then select the top three essays to be reviewed by the judges. If you have written something like this before, you know how important it is to make your writing impressive and clear. This is why I suggest that you prepare and practice before the essay period begins. There are many writers who won the contests, but in My Favorite Place to Live and Work, I really encourage you to participate. It's a great way to express yourself and get ideas for future writing. There is nothing better than getting feedback from the judges after you've written something that they like.
